About Rick Southwick
I’m Rick Southwick with Venture Development Realty. Originally from the eastern tip of Long Island, New York, I made my way to Florida to attend Rollins College in Winter Park—a move that fulfilled my lifelong dream of living in this great state.
Over the years, I’ve worn many hats: professional golfer, insurance agent, institutional stock trader, and now real estate agent. Of all those careers, real estate has been the most rewarding. Anyone who knows me will tell you I have a genuine passion for helping people achieve their goals and dreams, which makes this profession a perfect fit.
Before joining Venture Development Realty, I spent more than 10 years with ICI Homes in Plantation Bay, where I gained extensive knowledge of the community, its homes, and the surrounding area. That experience has given me valuable insight into both new construction and resale markets. As a multiple award-winning sales associate recognized for transaction volume, total sales, and customer service, I bring a proven track record and a commitment to excellence to every client relationship.
My wife, daughter, and I are proud to call this area home, and we love it so much that we plan to stay forever. I look forward to putting my local expertise, professional experience, and passion for helping others to work for you in all your real estate needs.
